Border waits can be up to 3-4 hours on Sunday evenings

  Otay crossing (faster than San Ysidro) has changed it’s access for the ready lanes for passport card to ONLY the side road west of regular exit road. There are now up to 5 ready lanes (fed by 2 lanes) and have slightly faster crossing times. 2 Ready Lanes open 24/7.

Crossing on foot times have dramatically increased as well and at times are similar to crossing by car.
